Reverie is an old fantasy novel when I was in secondary school. At that time, I wrote like a boss and didn't care about plot lines, plot holes, cliche, worm holes, space gravity, etc. All I knew was, I wanted to write a fantasy story so much, that I spent my after school scribbling on binder notes. It was 26 chapters in totals, but I re-edited it when I was 18. I haven't managed to finish it now, but I want to use it for my writing and concept art practice.

659 tahun berlalu setelah pecahnya perang raksasa di daratan Titania, yang meninggalkan bekas kelam dalam sejarah bumi Valendia. 465 tahun silam setelah para orang-tua-bijak berhasil menemukan rahasia untuk mengangkat daratan Alastor ke permukaan langit, dan berabad-abad telah lewat semenjak manusia mulai melupakan keberadaan Griffin, Centaur, Naga bertanduk panjang, dan makhluk magis lainnya yang pernah hidup berdampingan dengan mereka. Para penyihir telah sejak lama dianggap punah, keberadaan mereka kini tak lebih dari sebuah fantasi yang diciptakan oleh benak para orang tua. Sometimes it would stop raining long enough for the stars to come out... and then it was nice. It was like just before the sun goes to bed down on the bayou. There was always a million sparkles on the water... like that mountain lake. It was so clear, Jenny, it looked like there were two skies one on top of the other. And then in the desert, when the sun comes up, I couldn't tell where heaven stopped and the earth began. It's so beautiful.

Is it too late to update this CF journal? But oh well, because I had the archives of last years' CF, I think I'll update here also.

Basically the event was a blast.

I was preparing a doujin on November 2011, Finished the concept and draft from 1st to 10th, then Finished the inking and toning and texting from 11th to 28th. Then I did the cover on 29th, then I sent the files to my friend for printing on 30th.

But feel a bit guilty after that because again, I abandoned TBi script....

After that December is full of preparing for the event, made some buttons etcetc, even went to printing shop while it's raining like mad. Was stucked halfway because it was flooding...=_= the most epic journey to printing shop....ever

Reached Kl together with Annisa on 15th December, hahhaha like what we were talking, 2 years ago, when we first knew each other through internet, never did we have a thought of going oversea together, let alone attending some comic convention. But that's life for you =w=

The next day (16th) we visit the city, Annisa eventually bought a costume, which is, actually surprised me because it's really a sudden-on-spot-decision. What I don't really get it is...why maid???? hahahah She bought a full set maid costume for around...60$ i think???

then after that just normal shopping here and there, reached apartment, bloody tired, and preparing for the event on the next day. oh was trying the make up and wigs on that night too hahahahah

17th and 18th was stucked inside hall, layan customer shopping, met some friends and new friends. I finally get to meet thestarofpiesces. I really adore her pencil art, and managed to ask her to be guest artist in the second book hahahaha, managed to ask some other artists i adored too fufufufufu but names come later because I want them to have special appearance.

This year Cf venue is pretty good, tho the crowd management on the first day was a bit disappointing. But the CF crew managed to get through it on the second day, and they really improve their system so everything went fabulous on the second day. (thumbs up for profesional act)

This year sales went up 60% which is...very good, dspite the fact that I didn't prepare much buttons design. I should make more design next time orzz...

Anw met a lot of awesome cosplayer, Nisa eventually managed to find Hope cosplayer hahaha, should seen her fangirl face. Mei was looking for Calvin who said he's cosplaying as Izaya, but couldn't find him both day. I think Mei still mesmerized by Calvin since Taylor's Asaban fest hahaha,

Met sousou again, Terra, Julian, and some old buddies from past convention. Also with a LOT of ex colleagues from studio +_+

Anw, got a lot of free stuffs this year sobsobsob I love Comic Community in Malaysia, because the artist were so kind and so friendly :'D

I got to pick my refund together with Zfoo , which I met for the first time after that :'D

When It come to closing, didn't really pay attention because I'm already feel so tired and looking for toilet lol orzz

Funny thing about me in convention is....I visit people whose booth are far far away, but never really greet the people whose booth is right beside mine orzorz

Took a flight back on 20th, and met with sousou whose flight is the same as me and Nisa haha, were chatting in the loby and taking picture like a boss.

When we reached home....Nisa didn't realized I took her wallet home...
Hence confirmed the blurness of post event..

Haven't updated this blog for a long time..rusty...rusty...

Anyway...I don't really remember what was my 2011 resolution, I'm pretty sure I made one but I forgot where did I keep it. Actually I'm not really comfortable to put those thing online cos I'm scared I'll bite my own tongue,

But at last, another year has passed, and here come a new spread on everyone's journey.
It's pretty exciting really, I don't know why some people complaining of others being so hype abut new year. Because I think everyone need a new start and new year just a time where they can feel the spirit of changes. Well...of course, the rest is up to them.

2011 was pretty rough at the beginning. I lost and broke several important things, but I get some new things at the end. (I remember I had this post in this blog but maybe I got emo in the middle and decided to delete it lololol) I was also confused about how should I go with my future when I was doing internship in animation company orz (even now I still feel that).

But alas, I learnt a lot this year, Met some new people, and some big fish too hahah 8D
I had my first meeting with a guy from game company which made me more aware of how the industry is going. Finished my education after 3 years under full scholarship. Befriend with a lot of amazing artist I always adored, Finished my first game and sold it out at the first day of convention =w= , made a doujin (finally after 3 years attempt lol!!!) , Working on published children books, Experience working environment, submitted some pages to overseas publisher ;;v;; , and.....uhm...reached 20th years of my life? Lol I'm not teenager anymore sobsobsob (ah it's okay, one more year then I can legally enter strip club hahahahahhahaha wtf)

Off course there're a lot of downside too...like...I didn't manage to finish my second book =_= , rejected an offer from overseas publisher, rejected by some company I really wanted to join, and so on and so on

but...

I think I'm gaining more positive energy from the end of this year :), hope better things awaits in the future. For now I'll do my best and move away from my comfort zone. Reading D.choo's blog always reminds me that we really are a fragile being that can die anytime lolotlorz

I hope I can be more productives this year, finish b-ink2, finish another game, and do more doujins, attend more conventions, and visit Japan for fuyu comi XD (Biggest wish list). But life's funny sometimes, so, Just hope for the best ^ 3 ^

Many folks make excuses for themselves like "but I got no time to do X" or "by the time I get home I'm so tired." Folks like these are actually their own biggest obstacle because they build a tall wall of an excuse to do nothing.
If one can make time to eat, poo and pee then one can make time if they are passionate enough to start learning, experiencing, building or meeting. Lets encourage ourselves - not discourage buy making excuses.

The reason I bought the DVD was because i wanted to do some research on england-1880s-movie
so I could get the clear idea about their clothing and stuffs...
and when I was looking at the dvd rack, I found this movie and startled because the concept is pretty similar
I was a bit pissed because I thought I have to dump my concept

My concept is also set in london 1880s,
and about two young orphan who struggle to live
but it's more into 1880s-health-problem rather than the crime (oliver twist main plot)

ever since i was in school, i knew that i’m not very good with words. I’m not the best person to describe anything in text or paragraph. I didn’t get a good score when it comes to story telling. But what i write here, i hope some people still can understand what i mean.

Yesterday, i was having an online meeting with my writer partner. And somehow, don’t know where the idea comes from, we decided to make some major changes with the plot story on our ongoing book. It was kinda a hard decision. I cannot spoil it myself what’s the idea about, untill the next publication date. But to be honest i feel sad……because i love them so much. i love the characters in our story. i love them, like i love my friends, my lover, my parents, or even my kid(?)

ok..i dont have kid yet, and my last love experience was suck. What i mean is, that it somehow, i can feel what are they feeling. it’s just like their’s feeling is mine. Girl and boy of mine, look at how much i love you….

i was once again awaken early this morning, and i cannot sleep anymore because i keep thinking of them. Then i decided to take some book to read..and ended up reading Benjamin’s orange and get even more sentimental…(and depressed)

Orange is basically a depressing and dark story about a girl who want to commit suicide…..

The postscript is what moved the most

When i finished drawing Orange, it’d been a long time since i’d written a script. I was typing away in the morning light. Every last sunbeam seemed to be bringing me its final cares. It took me one day and one night of straight typing to finish this story. Afterwards, i went to sleep.

Reading a book you love is like taking a course with a famous professor who teaches you what’s beautiful and what’s evil in this life, everything you did’t know yet.

In this book, how much was planned and how much a gift? i don’t know. there were a hundred pages already drawn, that were going to be published. That was all. i didn’t know what i’d drawn. All i knew was that i was sad. If i’d had a gun, i would’ve blown my brains out after drawing this story. if i’d been brave enough, i would’ve turned the gas on to fulfil the wish of seeing myself transfigured by flames. But i didn’t have a gun, and i wasn’t brave. I had no ideals, and i wasn’t gifted. I wasn’t a fighter. Right now, today, i don’t even have any more feelings, i don’t go out with girls, i don’t sing anymore, i don’t earn any more money, i hardly eat, i don’t buy new clothes, i don’t even send text messages. At night, i play stupid online games. And i’m affraid that one day i’ll end up not even liking to draw anymore.

I was told my hero was poor, even though today she’s known all over China. Despite tireless pursuit that have made her millions, made her a star, she still has no car. She’s still “pitiful”. I was so happy to find that out. A real hero, better than the rest of us. All you others are rich, but not my hero. You’ve got a wife and a handsome car that gleams, but not my hero, and you won’t pity my hero what she hasn’t got.

My hero was confronted with a problem that drove her to try to kill herself. She couldn’t write music anymore. I love you, hero of mine, i love you-you who never stooped the vulgar, who never gave in.

All right, fine, books falls under the category of quality literature. Orange was rejected three years ago. Three years, since i drew it, without being published. The reason? “Too depressing.” I don’t know exactly why it finally got published. until the moment i finished drawing and writing, i didn’t know if i could get publish or who would do it. Which, of all the companies i worked for, was i going to put on the cover as publisher? Whoever it was, i need to thank them. Three years later, i took up this old book and redrew it. Young girl of three years ago, where did you go?

Did you grow up? Do you still want to die so much? i can’t enter your heart to comfort you, i can’t dry your tears. I can’t even tell you what i’m drawing. i can’t send you a text message or call you. I’ve changed my number. You can’t call me at night, drunk. I loved you so much. I couldn’t give you anything but suffering. If ever, from sheerest coincidence, you read this book, remember that i hated you, it was because i loved you so much. The most important thing is that you never let me down. Don't give up, don't give in, don't dirty or debase yourself. You wouldn't be the girl i loved. You wouldn't be the one all those people have read about. You've got to keep op rockin' and never give up. I can't sacrifice myself, as i haven't finished you yet. The world change to fast. I don't know anything anymore. In the middle of the street, i feel like i'm from another time. There was so much love before. Who'd i give it to? My head's empty. I have to get drunk to remember. In my head, there are so many you, and i doubt that, in my drunken exhilaration, my memory will return.

The most important thing is still happiness. Why don't i aspire to happiness? Why am i the only person to be wounded by happiness? Always a vale of tears. When, late at night, i think of you, i always come up with various ways to avenge myself, and wind up injuring my hands. No matter how savage i get, no matter how sincere, i can't resist a few lies, a few pretty promises. Lost, all is lost. Ideals lose out against happiness, bravery against love, honesty against the need of security--because happiness is the most important thing, because i love you.

i no longer sleep or eat. i’ve conquered work, i’ve conquered weakness, i’ve conquered exhaustion and the limits of my physical endurance. I’ve been conquered time and what people might say. But i’ve lost it all-to you

The most important this is that i was finally able to find a way to pour out my resentment. Those who like sentimental story will be disappointed. Those expecting sweet love story will split blood. Sorry but i can’t lie. There’s always a moment when i betray myself, and that is the desire to commit murder.

We poor artists, unfairly treated—don’t make martyrs of us. Instead, understand that whether we’re making music or art, we’re slaving away after an ideal. Not for money or women. We’re slaves of the art we love.

Perhaps i was unbalanced because the story was very close to my experiences. At least i described a strange life with great sincerity. Critique it all you like, it’s a true story. Even if the book’s no good, i put my heart and my soul into it, and took a little time from anyone else, too.

Sorry, but i can;t explain why the story’s like this and not that, why the girl’s like this and not that, why the boy’s like this and not that. What i mean is, i doesn’t matter much who the book is about, boy or girl: the important things is that the character has real feelings, just like in drawings.

Life is a funny story. At the beginning, you don’t understand a thing, and then, in a flash of lightning, you become intelligent and get it all. Today, even with all i’ve been through, i’m really exhausted, but i realize that i don’t understand anything yet.

Whether writing or drawing, what i do is nonsense. I let my hand move freely without knowing what i’m drawing. I feel stupid. All youth’s aspirating are shattered. How can i find them again? it’s so hard. I live as through my brain were locked in a glass bottle.

I don’t want anything. I just want to create ever-better books, make things that are more beautiful than women, than food, than life itself.

Have just finnished tones for chapter 1 of butterfly ink, put it in indesign, and typed the dialogues

yeah, all the work which made slept at 5.30 in the morning (thank God i have no class today)

so in order to take a break and made some artwork for my long abandoned Deviantart, im planning to do colors for each of butterfly ink charas, probbably take 5 days to finnish all jees...

son of the house of Bealo, a noble family who served the kingdom since old time. His father, Hagen bealo is the current commander of the royal knight.

Illiora Rozenne from "The traceless knight" (in development)
the 692th-vice commander of royal knight. Eam's combat tutor. She's very skilled at swordmanship, and rumoured to be the strongest knight after Hagen(Eam's father).

Fabian Trevin from "The Butterfly Ink" (in progress)
Son of the strongest magician in kingdom, Albion Trevin.

Regardless his small and fragile figure, Fabian always act and think more than what kids around his age are supposed to. deep inside his heart there's a certain longing and sadness that no one knows. Till the day, he met Illiora.

IN THE SKY

the concept

Inspired by Gorilaz, a band using 4 cyber idol for the band. I intended to make a music video using characters and animation. The purpose of this animation is to demonstrate the skills, and also the understanding of movement, such as spin, lip sync, etc, therefore the sequence of the story is seated in the second priority, but still, have a deep meaning behind it.

the story

Such a windy day it was. A girl sat at the end of the valley. All she did is looking up and reached out to the sky, prays for her wish to come true. In another place, a red haired girl, with her beloved guitar stand with her band. There’s only one purpose she has that day. To encourage those who’s longing for their dream, to become a sky, so those could spread their wings and fly. And the two of the start singing.

As for light, is simply the opposite of sky

she's more into the fragile-little girl looks yet pure and innocent

is in stressed state for more than 2 moonth and this one week, the stressed is in the maximum level....i can't believe when i saw the floor plan from CF crew...our booth "veleries" is so big 12x10 feet and there are only 6 island in the convention,
i wrote this in my deviantart journal:

just now i received an email from comic fiesta crew about the artist booth plan,
and i know it was a mistake to reserved a huge island despite the fact that i'm selling my own stuff, without anybody sharing....and when i saw the real map i was like

IT'S SO BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG, my booth is insanely huge
and to make it worse, it's in the middle of the hall surrounded by others artist booths,and to make it even more worse....it's right beside yamgene booth (kidchan's)

i'm really..really don't have any idea to fill the booth, since i cancel my doujin (due to some reason, my doujin cannot make it for cf and i was crying when i know it^%^&$%^$%^$%^$^!!!! grh) so what left to me to sell is prints, and badges,a dn prints and badges,and im dead...like..serriously dead..
i know this sounds crazy but if anyone still interested and crazy enough to join the cf and share with me in one week, that means you save my life!!!!!
so anyone here who's going to cf, please don't be surprise when you see a corpse lying in the corner of veleries booth, it's deffinitely gonna be me...

sure sounds pathethic..me and vivi are like having nighmare..we really scared that our booth gonna be so empty and like i said, our neighboor is one of the famous artist in the so called comunity, and it's really embarassing!! good things is the co founder of the famous imaginary friends studio, stanley lau will come ang give seminar, other than that..hell...if i could turn back time, i wil change the island into booth, shitttttt
so in this one week, everything are so hectic, vivi was helping me alot to find people who willing to save us, and yeah, we found one guy, willing to join us and hes gonna sell his hand made figurine (wow), and i dont think my friend who wants to send her goodies can make it in time...so...i culdnt even think straight right now...im really depressed, this is the first convention and yet so hectic...

there are 5 different design (im gonna take them all from the shop tommorow along with my badges design)

thanks for that i dont have asnymore money now..T_T i've spent 850rm for mugs and button, and need to spend another few hundreds for prints...(just why the printing service in malaysia are fuc*ing expensive!!)

but nvm...i can seel the leftover in another convention..(targeting to go to singapore)

ive done new prints in deviantart, and hell yes, it has quite good response, like...more than 200 people faving it in just 2 days..wow!! im so happy hahaha
and recently gotten my secind daily deviation awards in deviant art...believe me people..you cannot imagine how happy i was..i mean like serriously, i have only 38 deviation and has been absent for one year, yet i got another awards???? im bouncing to die..
gonna post the others latter

so....i just hope everything will go well....like..i really have no spirit now..and has been lacking from drawing....this past 2 months was so chaotic..i've done my best, i sacrificed my bed time, i sacrificed my pleasure to go out, and have fun like other people who enjoying their holidays...but im here..in my room, 21/24 hour facing computer....i dont even know whay am i doing this anymore....

a classic love story, sounds so boring? wait untill you read it...
i've been working on it since last 3 weeks (well not really 3 weeks since i was also busy doinjg assigment), and now i have 40 draft pages which are ready to be inked, the first 10 pages are ad with yenwei (my inking master!) and now...i have more than another 40 pages to go...ahhh im really scared..serriously im really scared...this is the first time im feel so scared of doing what i want to do...just imagine how horror it is if i couldnt make it in time, and then i javent made any badges, then i dont have enough prints to sell...im reallly scareddddd...i feel like crying..but crying wont solve anything...
